Biodiesel Home Heating
Coal, oil and natural gas are all categorized as fossil fuels. With this type of energy source, costs in terms of both dollars and health have caused concern by the public who consume it. A completely viable alternative to the use of fossil fuels is biodiesel home heating.
With traditional fossil fuels, the dollar cost is quite evident. Labor, transport of the fossil fuels and materials to build plants that turn fuel into energy for our use is all included in utility bills and the price of gas when we fill up our vehicles. We shoulder these costs in exchange for the energy we need to run our homes, drive places and essentially live our lives.
Costs that we do not see printed on our monthly bill deal with not only our level of health, but the environment as well. Burning coal creates air pollution which takes its toll on our lungs. The extraction of fossil fuels contributes dramatically to the decline of our environment. Water pollution and global warming are two residual effects of the mainstream energy system that is in place.
One way to counteract your use of fossil fuels is to implement the use of biodiesel. This energy source is essentially made from oils and fats that come from vegetables and animals. By having biodegradable, nontoxic and renewable properties and a shorter production time than fossil fuels, using biodiesel is an extremely attractive alternative. Biodiesel home heating can accomplish the same task through less costly means than those of the traditional methods.
